Lahore Airport Transfer Guide (2026) - All Options & Tips
Escape Lahore's airport hassle-free with reliable airport transfers-compare private cars, shuttles, and taxis for the best rates.
We have not yet verified how travellers currently reach Lahore from the airport serving it, so we are not publishing routes, operators or fares we cannot stand behind. For what is running on the day you travel, the arrivals information published by your arrival airport is the reliable source, and your accommodation will usually know what works best for the hour you land.
Helpful Tips
Download the Careem or inDrive app before arrival for reliable ride-hailing across Lahore.
Buy a Lahore Metrobus card at the station to tap-and-ride the BRT corridor from Gajju Mata to Shahdara.
Use the airport's Daewoo shuttle service to reach the city center, typically cheaper than a private taxi.
Riksha drivers quote high. Agree on a fare before boarding or use the in-app rickshaw option in Careem.
Common Scams to Avoid
Un-metered taxis at the arrivals curb quote inflated flat fares that can be double or triple the metered rate. Insist on using the ride-hailing app counters inside the terminal or walk to the designated taxi booth where fares are regulated.
Porters inside the baggage-claim area grab bags without being asked and then demand high tips. Keep control of your luggage and, if you need help, agree on a small tip before handing anything over.
Currency-exchange kiosks just outside customs advertise "no commission" but give a marked-down rate compared to the mid-market figure. Compare the offered rate on your phone before handing over cash, or wait and use an ATM inside the terminal instead.
